Usually if a game crashes after only 10 minutes of play (depending on the game), your PC might be having heating problems. Is this the only game that crashes after 10-15 minutes? Or is the game only crashing when you're doing certain things? A bit more info would be helpful.

This is the only game that crashes after like 10 mins of gameplay and the problem may be overheat cuz i get like 1 sec lag and then it crashes. Tell me with what program i should see my PC temperature. thnx

edit: i just mesured down my Processor temp after crash it was 64 degrees this is not high and i still get fatal errors

in Celsius or Fahrenheit? I'm assuming Celsius, anyways yea that is pretty warm for a processor to be running, mine hits 35-45c when under stress and 26c when idle with my 3rd party cooler. Although when I use to use my stock heatsink cooler it was 50-55c and idleing at 40c the highest so yours is kind of hot. What's the idle temperature? It might need some new thermal paste or the fan isn't working correctly.

in celius or farnenhight? I'm assuming celius, anyways yea that is pretty warm for a processor to be running, mine hits 35-45c when under stress and 26c when idle with my 3rd party cooler. Pretty much what he said. I think the PC overall (heat inside) should be around 65F (not C) or so. Otherwise if it stays hot too long, the PC will shut-down automatically to stop you from burning out your PC.

50 degrees F isn't really all that high if you're playing a game. It's when it gets to the high 70's is or even really low 80's is when it's really too high. My machine was giving me beeps when it started hitting 82F. I usually had to stop the game (because the stupid buzzer was becoming super annoying and at first I thought it was a stupid virus warning buzzer everytime I tried playing Skyrim), but it was really the heat buzzer yelling at me because my room was too hot. So I have to open my window during the day and turn on a box fan to cool my room down during the afternoon, or my room will turn into an oven, and that's not good for your PC.

I will also say that keeping your room at 68F is a good idea. Preferably without an air conditioner like I have to do it.

What temperature do you get in idle mode when not doing anything on your desktop in Celsius? By my understanding you get 60c under load on gta iv, does the same thing happen with other games?.
