    Sniper Elite V2... PC Campaign

I loved playing the first game, it was tactical in the sense that you couldn't run and gun so when I saw my friend playing the V2 version, I was game.

I felt the TPV to be a little cumbersome because I am not use to it and I would have loved it to be in FPV. Aside from that, the game plays well, a little linear at times and other times, you know you'll get into a showdown but you are at least high enough where you can take cover and pick up your targets.

One thing that bothers me a lot is the fact that the aiming with the pistol and assault weapon sucks because they left the TPV and the sight marks were left extremely open or wide so it is hard to kill the oponents since you don't know where the bullets are going... hard to explain.

Another tactical aspects I think they could have done better is to give you some intel on the exfil, perhaps so you can lay some mines or dynamite and once you got to get the hell out, you can use them to help you escape by exploding them from distance, etc... unless you have not played the game you will probably don't understand where I am coming from here.

I wouldn't pay top dollar but I will look for it in the bargain bin.

Do you need to play the first Sniper Elite to understand / enjoy the story of this one? I am actually planning to get it but I haven't played the first one.

Nope, not really... same WWII war but different scenarios. although, if you have not played the first one, I really recommend it, it couldn't be worth more than five cheeseburgers by now!

It's what makes the game for me - it just doesn't get old

(and the in the bum out the balls shots are fun too )

The xray style should be adopted for all future FPS. No more 3-4 bullets to a head 'headshot' nonsense.

There's plenty of room for improvement (stealth especially) but it's a really enjoyable game. I've replayed it a few times and that's extremely rare for me these days.

Same....been playing that recently. Favorite is shooting the grenades on the enemy belts.............. The enemy AI needs some tuning though.

Pat we should play a game online sometime.

If the devs just took a few more minutes to polish this games, we could have an awesomer time

I hate the fact that, no matter what you do or try, they bottleneck you into a firefight to make you believe the game is that long... sad fact but it is what the kiddies pay for.

The heart, lungs or kidney shots make me cringe a little... but its like watching a train wreck, you just can't stop watching it.
