Will This Rig Run GTA IV?

I am getting a custom rig built soon. I just want to know if it can run GTA IV smoothly. Not maxed out on ultra but on medium-high

    Video: GTX 550 TI 1GB
    Motherboard: 1155 ASUS P8 Z68-V2X ATX
    Memory: 8GB DDR
    SSD: 128GB
    Power Supply: 500W
    HDD: 320GB
CPU: Intel 3.10 GHz Core i5-2400 quad

So what do you guys think. I am not looking for maximum settings, just you know being able to run it. Along with Photshop and other things.

In the future, you can go to Can You RUN It | Can I run that game | Game system requirements to check if your games will run on your machine. They don't have every single game known to man in their list, but they have a lot.

With a few lower details here and there, you should be able to get pretty smooth games play.

    550ti vs 7770

    7770.

But the 550ti has arguably better drivers.

for gta iv the 550ti is good, all gta iv ask for is at least a quad core processor with around 3.0ghz and up since it's really cpu demanding, the i5 should be able to handle gta iv just fine with no problems. As for graphics any mid-high range card with 1gb should do it so the 550ti would be fine or if you want a 7770 then you can buy that, which ever floats your boat but if it were me I would go with a 550ti since the drivers are more matured and the 7xxxx series cards drivers are still being tweaked to make stable.

I am not looking for maxed out settings. Just medium-high and what not. What kind of Intel Quad core would you recommend?

well you asked for good quad cores unless you want me to list a i3 which is a duo core The i5's are intels cheapest and nices quad cores on the market or you could go for a i7 2600 but it's like double the price but if you have the money for it then go for it,its better then the i5's. Newegg.com - Intel Core i7-2600 Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I72600
