| | Gta iv error Tried the various installation fixes, all is correct, but i ran into some write permission issues with the C++ redistributable, now i can't start GTA IV, getting fatal error RMN40. I tried the windows 2000 compat mode fix, did not work. any ideas? |

| | RMN40, I think, refers to XP users who needs SP3 installed. Have you tried Vista or XP compatibility mode, besides Win2k? Try re-installing the Redist C++ with administrator settings and Vista compatibility. Furthermore make sure you have Javascript and the newest version of Adobe Flash installed.
