Heads Up on a good Gaming Mouse
For those considering a new gaming mouse, consider the Thermaltake Theron
Personally I'm picky when it comes to mice. I'm predominantly a claw/fingertip style gamer, yet for desktop usage a bit of a palm gripper.
There are some reviews below, so I'll only cover a few personal angles.
Surfaces: It works well on dedicated pads like the The Razer Goliath, Roccat Alumic/speed/smooth, and cloth mats like the Razer Goliathus. It'll work well on non-gaming pads too.
I have two Razer Imperators which I've found to be the most comfortable mouse for me. They are good mice. My Lachesis was a good mouse too, but it was always a little 'odd' in feel. The Tt Theron is like the best of both worlds.
Personal noticed pros:
Wired
It's bloody comfortable.
Does not feel 'cheap'.
Left side back/forward are in a good position.
Has a easy to reach programmable front right button.
Easy DPI switching.
Selectable 125/500/1000 polling RATE.
Up to 5700 DPI
Easy under side profile switching.
Variable weights
Software is pretty straightforward.
Has multiple user selected colour schemes. 7 of them which can be mixed and matched. Basically, it looks awesome no matter your preference.
Overall, it feels solid, not cheap, performs well and looks pretty damn good. It works just as well as a 'a desktop' mouse and and a gaming mouse.
It's well worth a look by many gamers who currently use Logitech, Roccat, Razer etc ansd are inthe market for a replacement.
