    Max Payne 3 Initializing?

As per topic, I installed Max Payne 3 which took exactly 2 hours 15 minutes. After launching the game, it asked to update as new update was available so did that as well. On welcome screen, when I press enter. It says initializing and remains like that

Anyone else had similar problem, how can I resolve this problem? Really want to play this game.

    Thanks

*** forget to mention, I already googled this, and found something to change name of folder in registry which I have done but still can't play ***

Brand new game, many here (including me) don't buy new games until we have heard good things from it... all I have heard so far is that it is a toss up, some people are playing some others are not (like you).

Perhaps that is why nobody has come to your rescue, we know less that you at the moment.

Now, being said that... have you updated your video and audio drivers to the latest version yet? I know that Nvidia has specific drivers for that game.

Have you tried talking to their Tech support? Have you gotten to their forums to see what others are saying?

    Good Luck

Video and Audio drivers are up to date...also SP1 is installed when windows updated itself last time. I also looked on max payne forums but can't find any info there. Whatever info I found is mentioned in first post and that didn't worked either.

Most of the time when you do that it rewrites the initial EXE so it should clean up any reasons to stall loading
