Where are the pictures that automatically get created in GameExplorer

    My problem is:
I know the GameBox pictues are in> C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\GameExplorer

But what about pictures that automatically get created in GameExplorer, these are not in the C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\GameExplorer folder. Where do I find them?

In your respective game folders, c:\program files(x86)\name of company\name of game, the icon files or executable with the embedded image will be in there, but sometimes Microsoft will download additional data for the relevant games if more information is provided to Microsoft, the files that are downloaded will be in that game explorer folder

    Nope.
Looked in C:\...\The Force Unleashed & no pic is found. So if it is embeded in the .exe file, is there a way to extract it?

You can extract it with some free software, after a simple search in google, a lot of hits for this extractor by nirsoft > IconsExtract - Extract icon/cursor stored in EXE, DLL, OCX, CPL files however I cannot vouch for one nor the other because I've never used or heard of nirsoft or others that do this?

I have that program & did try it, but unfortunantly it only extracted icons & no BoxArt.

Oh, well. I did get a scanned copy of the BoxArt though, so now I'm good. Thanks for the reply.
