Fraps Recording Lag Spikes

hello i am trying to record some gameplay for a youtube channel and i keep getting lag spikes on 1 game. When ever i play league of legends i always will have a frame rate drop. I usualy get around 120-90 fps without recording and 60-40 fps with recording but for some reason there will always be a drop to around 1-10 for about 2 secs. any idea on whats wrong?

Half quality will reduce the file size and the quality of the video. By the way, I'm new here. Hi all.

Lower the resolution of your game.

Do these fraps settings:
30fps half-size
Screenshot file format: JPG
Also try to play your game in windowed mode.
Also try not to max out the settings in your game.

try using bandicam or msi afterburner to record ur game play
bandicam will still take its toll but not as much as fraps. msi afterburner will record with no lag

Bandicam has a watermark and I have used it and used all the proper settings for the game I was playing. It lags real bad. But if you listen to the post I posted above and follow those settings for Fraps. Check out my minecraft test at my YouTube channel.
