NFS Undercover issue

hi, first of all i want to thank your guide since it helped me install my winXP and Windows 7, but there is a problem, I copied my friend's flash drive and copied NFS Undercover on my drive D(since my Windows 7 is on driveC and winXP is on driveE). The problem arose when i tried to run NFS Undercover on Windows 7. First it wouldnt run but the process is on the task manager and it hanged my computer, second when i try to run dxdiag, my directX files tab had gone missing! Dxdiag also detected an error. But its awkward because my NFS runs smooth on winXP. Should I download directx11 files? And how should I prevent directx files from deletion?

I really need help and I dont need bashers
Thnx for any help

Hello and welcome to the forums blaze999,

Fix your DirectX solution by reinstalling it using this DirectX Redistributable from Microsoft

Download: DirectX Redist (June 2010) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

I suspect NFS Undercover is not working on your system because you made a direct copy of it from a drive, i think you need to install it from a genuine source like the original DVD or from steam..

Your friend may have give you a cracked version, and discussion of such software is against forum guidelines...
