skyrim: detecting a disease

hi how do u find out if u have a disease? thanks

What you can do is go under the main menu, select the magic tab and click Active Effects.

If you currently have a disease, the effects will show up here in red (connoting a negative effect).

Here are the diseases that you can contract in Skyrim as per the Elder Scrolls Wiki:

Ataxia: Lockpicking & Pickpocket become 25% harder. This disease is contracted from traps and Skeevers.
Bone Break Fever: -25 Stamina. Contracted from Traps, Bears.
Brain Rot: -25 Magicka. Contracted from Traps, Hagraven
Rattles: Stamina recovers 50% slower. Contracted from Traps and Chaurus
Rockjoint: 25% less effective with melee weapons. Contracted from Traps, Wolves and Foxes
Sanguinare Vampiris: -25% health, progresses to Vampirism. Contracted from Vampires
Witbane: Magicka recovers 50% slower. Contracted from Traps and Sabrecat.
Lycanthropy: Transformation into a Werewolf.

This might be easier. When I first got a disease on skyrim I never knew. But everyone was saying I looked pale. Well at that point I didn't even know they were even in the game. But one day I just checked my stats and it said. Diseases contracted: 1. So I drink one of those potions to cure it. Sorry cant remember the name as I havnt played skyrim on months. So if you want to know if you got one. Record how many diseases you have caught. Make sure you don't actually have any at the time. And every now and then check your stats. If the number of diseases contracted is higher then you have a disease.

Simpler... Just find a gods worship thing like the one for Talos in whiterun when you worship it and get its blessing it removes all diseases !

this is the easiest solution in the game.
