Steam / Eve Online not working

Everytime I try and play eve online it just brings up the splash screen and then it disappears and nothing else happens. When I look in task manager processes the executable is there but the game doesn't actually open.

    Anyone else had this problem?

Is it a fresh install of eve? if not got to your eve folder then the bin folder and finally the direct x folder inside you'l find DXsetup run this and you'll be back in eve in no time :)

I took Bonez's approach to it, only many of you may be looking in the wrong \bin folder. This is the folder you'll find the file 'DXsetup' C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\eve online\bin\ or what ever directory you have steam installed on. Run that file and you should have no problems, just make you sure you allow instances of eve in your Firewall.
