Weird C&C Zero Hour fps Problem

    hi everyone.
I'm having a weird issue with C&C Generals Zero Hour game. the fps is about 4 or 5 :/.
I used to have this game working very good before, but now I have no idea why this is happening to me

    Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit

    SPECS:
Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
RAM 2.5 GB, The game was running fine when I had my old 1.0 GB RAM
CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00 GHz

Have you tried running the game in Compatibility Mode? It might help a lot if you do that.

You can also run the game with lower graphics and see if the problem is still there.

Run it with administrator privileges in Windows XP SP3 mode.

Is the game running slow after upgrading from 1GB to 2,5GB of RAM? If yes, check in the BIOS if the graphics allocated memory is at least 256MB. Sometimes when the RAM is updated in system with integrated GPU and shared video memory, the shared video memory could be reset to his minimum. This should cause lag in a lot of games because the video memory is very low. It happened to me with an Acer Aspire One and Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family.

(Generals Zero Hour requires a low-decent range graphics card to work good at high settings and at high fps)
