    (ask) how to change my resolution game ?? AMD HD 6310


    Hi All,

    I use asus 14 inch along with windows 7.
    recently i have installed the sims 3. but when i cannot play this game with full screen. i get black bars on each side of the screen.. its very irritating.. please help..

    i use AMD ATI RADEON 6310 (or maybe ver 11.4) :)

    well how big is the screen you are trying to use Also a HD6310 really isn't much of anything it is a Discrete Graphics interface that is limited

    I have a HD 6320 if you are looking for more resolution max would be 1024/768 Mostlikly for playing if you are doing something else you could get higher resolution but with games you are at best stuck there with decent game play

    I would right click and check Mobility settings as i never really messed with my Graphics I only tested them on my laptop which ran good enough for me

    When the main Menu of the Sims 3 comes up, click the little gear in the bottom left corner of the screen.

    Options/ Video tab. You can set video settings and resolution here.

    here i was thinking he wanted to use a bigger screen Sorry about that

    Didn't realize it was in game settings
