    Steam freezing comp


    Hello there,

    I have this problem with steam and with my computer seems than last update,i think.
    Before 4 days i have big problemss with my comp,freezing,blocking on 2-3mins while steam was opened.I reistal my comp and all was fine.Instal steam again and here is problem again.Delte steam no freezing.
    My OS win7 64x i5 2500k 4gb of ram 1gb grafic card.

    Just the steam application, or a particular game? You should post specifics of what you're experiencing and what you're doing while experiencing it. Aside from that, your CPU might not be handling whatever game it is that you're downloading.

    Just steam as program,as platform.There was no running games at taht moment.Just opened steam,surfing on the net,facebook,yt,chatting on skype than bumb,my comp freeze on 1-2mins,and that repeated again and again randomly.
    I turn off steam platform and havent any problems.When all freeze my arrow turns to circle and "loading" "loading"..

    Sounds like you need a memory upgrade to me. You've got an i5 with only 4gb of memory. However, steam isn't much a resource hog just being on a system. I'd consider some diagnostic approaches in the realm of malware.

    I am going to buy more ram this week,and try to find some problems with malwere..

    Good idea. Let me know if I can recommend any good applications for system optimization or malware.

    You don't need more RAM, 4GB is plenty. I suggest you ask Steam Support, as Steam is quite buggy and does crash quite often.
