    Counter strike Source PROBLEM

Ok this this thread has been made probably a few times, but There Solutions did not help.

My problem is that, When i click on a server, it loads fine but when i get to the screen with the MOTD and such IT just FREEZES and i have to ctrl alt delete and ya, u know the whole routine, It does it EVERYTIME, once in a blue moon it will work, but i just dont know what to do anymore. From reading other Posts, The said it was IDM or IEmonitor.exe that was screwing with it. I dont have Internet Download manager nor do i have something called IEmonitor.exe in my processes. I dont know what the problem is. Anyone help?

Give us some more details, such as:

    • System specifications
    • Graphics driver version

    And try:

    • Updating drivers
    • Running in compatibility mode

What build of Windows 7? It might be a specific build issue.

I'm currently on Windows 7 x64 Build 7100, and it worked fine for me. Have you tried more than one server?

Make sure your Internet Explorer is not set to work offline because CSS uses IE engine to load HTML-based MOTD. Also make sure your firewall/ antivirus suite is not blocking the game or browser functions.
