Windows 7: PES 2010 has stopped working

i have pes 2010 and it works fine but when i go to become a legend i make the player and then it crashes saying pes 2010 has stopped working. the other modes work fine i am able to play everything except become a legend. anybody got any suggestions on what to do?

Have you downloaded any patches? They can both be helpful but can also harm a little; for example, some patches don't like eachother = crash.
About your specs; PES should run on them. Have you installed the latest drivers for your computer?
What I would suggest to try: Do a complete reinstall; but turn off your antivirus and UAC while doing that. Also, make sure that you are the Admin on your computer (kind of obvious...).
Tell us how you get on!

If you changed nothing of it these days,
and the problem didn't come out before.
It might the game's problem.

If you the things you did might effect the game,
try to return to the original condition.

i reinstalled the game and done as you said and i have no patches. but i dont have the latest drivers. where should i find them from ?

oh forgot to mension when i reinstalled the game it still crashed once i entered become a legend

Drivers! Yes, try downloading a software like SlimDrivers or just Google for "Driver Updater" or something similar.
