I'm not sure if the disc is causing it all; but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with it...

Well the game came with 2 discs, and the second disc does the same thing.

Yup, I'll draw a line here. The disc is the problem. If other discs work fine; Command And Conquer should too!

Well i got Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 as well, ill try that one tommorrow, and tell you what happens, but thanks for the help so far!!

Ok so i think it was my disc reader that was the problem, so i went out and bought a external disc reader and it works perfect, BUT....... ill put in the Command and Conquer Generals 1st cd, and it would work and begin to install, when it tells me to put the 2nd disc in, it doesnt read the disc and nothing happens, when i put the 2nd disc in first just for the heck of it, it would read the disc, so i dont think its the disc and idk whats wrong now
