    Games built into Windows 7?

    Hi,
I'm running a professional version of windows 7 64-bit that I got from my University's msdn. My version does not have any game installed by default (like hearts, solitaire, or minesweeper), does Windows 7 usually come with these games installed, and is there any that I can install those games on my system?

    Thanks

Hey .. Welcome to the forums!!

The answer to your question, is no. MSDN Educational versions do not come with a games folder pre-installed. There are many freeware/shareware sites to chose from, so get the ones you want and build your own games folder, and have fun!

Have you checked Windows Features Turn Off or On under Programs and Features? He might be able to simply turn them on

That's how it was with Vista, so I assumed they could be installed that way with Windows 7. They're a great time waster for when you're on hold with a vendor.

Hey there, I have "Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit" and It also has no games installed. I went to the Windows Features and there are only:

    Internet Explorer 8
    Media Features
    Windows Media Player
    Telnet Client
    Windows Gadget Platform
    Windows Search

They are all on except "Telnet Client"
It is supposedly a full OEM version. Please Help if you can
