he is using windows 8. it has an issue with older games
I've actually tried running it in 7,8, and about to on Vista. The screenshot was 7. Windows 8 didn't work when I installed it, and I'm currently installing it on Vista to see if it'll work there.
Installed in Vista, no problems. Guess it isn't meant to be in 7 and up. Strange that compatibility mode didn't work, as it's worked for me always before.

Also I have an old Windows XP Laptop for backup/occasional use etc.
A few weeks back PC crashed out of no where and BSOD appeared.. didnt take much notice until it says OS not found when restarting.. but after a few tries it went back to normal for a few days then these few days it started to startup very slowly and may sometimes crash after typing in the password...
