Can This Computer Play Games?

Here are the specs:
AMD A8-3850 quad-core Accelerated Processor [2.9GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, Max Memory Speed: DDR3-1600] (Would an A6 be able to play? It'd save me some money. Only games I'll be playing are Mafia 2, Sims 3, similar requirement games.
4GB DDR3-1600MHz SDRAM [2 DIMMs]
1GB Nvidia GeForce GT620 [DVI, HDMI, VGA via Adapter]

The NVIDIA chip should let you play Mafia 2 with more than 30 fps at high settings or medium for a smoother and solid frame rate. Sims 3 should be maxed out. Demanding games like BF3, Skyrim, The Witcher 2, Metro 2033 however must be set to low for acceptable framerate. CPU doesn't matter much in games unless you are using very high end graphics card.

I'd pick up a Radeon HD 6450, 6570 or a 6670 Series HD Radeon card and crossfire it with that APU.
