Last day I was shopping around when I saw Supreme Commander 2 in the bargain bin, I knew of it and after a quick check at the system requirements I bought it for 5 euros.
Now, this game installed itself into my Steam games (as intended) and all went well, codes accepted, all things ok.
I go to play it and what happens?
This (a short video I made with my canon camera since printscreen gives me the image of my desktop and I'm too lazy to download/install Fraps or whatever software solution)
I can still somewhat see things and navigate through menu, the main issue is that when I go to make a new game or skirimisk, it loads (with the screen still flickering like that) and once it's ready to show the game it CTDs.
Changed settings in all ways possible, still flickers, still CTDs.
Now, game requirements:

And Geforce 6200 (my card)'s specs are
here. It fits in the mobo's AGP slot.
I'm pretty sure it should run, did I miss anything?
I ran also a check from "can you run it?" website and it says my card isn't good (red sign) while still saying that the card has all minimum requirements needed by the game (each single requirement is green). What the?
It reported that the card had 841 mb of memory when I'm pretty damn sure that it has 256 mb. Did a dxdiag and again it says the card has 841 mbs of memory.
The Dxdiag also said that I have directx 11 installed, and I don't really get how the heck that is installed as the Geforce 6200 does not go beyond the directx 9c.
I have other games like Age of Empires 3 + expansions and run fine at mid detail, and I also have Emergency 4 and Homeworld 2 and all run fine.
As for drivers, I had to use an oldish Vista driver (2006) I found after obsessive Googling since NVIDIA guys seem to have screwed up the driver installation packs since then and none of the new ones I download ever recognized my card nor installed any driver. But it runs fine afaik.
