Steam: GTA IV - DXSETUP.exe - Bad Image

So basically I've been trying to fix this problem, but I can't find a solution. I don't know how this problem came to be, I literally uninstalled it like 3 times already and it still won't work.

I pressed play and it runs a setup for this
    Steam: GTA IV - DXSETUP.exe - Bad Image-no1.png
but after that this box pops up and tells me this problem appears:

    Any help?
Btw, my system specs are in the bottom left hand corner.

I already tried that before making this thread but I had no luck there. '
Since no one can really help, I'll download a torrent of the game and install it ISO file rather than Steam, maybe that could be the problem.

Have you tried manually installing direct x? If it sees you have it already then it might just check and skip it.
Download: DirectX End-User Runtime - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

Also you could make steam check if any of the install files got broken while downloading by right clicking the game in steam and selecting properties and then go to local files and check the integrity of the game.

I did both. My system told me I already had DirectX already a more updated version, I did the second one like 4 times already but still no luck

Hmm maybe it's steam related then,I would ask on the steam forums about it. Maybe reinstalling steam, just back up steamapps folder before reinstalling steam so you don't have to re-download your games and put back steamapps back in the steam folder where it was after the reinstall. Anyways I would proably ask steam support, sounds like something wrong with steam.

Try installing PhysX system software no matter you have AMD or Nvidia GPU! maybe it'll help with any missing file or two.. give it a try wont hurt if you have'nt it already.
