    Borderlands 2 Released

I know this is a little late, but Borderlands 2 has been released (and I happened to find out yesterday) in August. I looked up the system requirements. Seeing as it needs Steam installed, I won't be buying this game, however, for those of you interested, these are the specs you need.

    Borderlands 2 | System Requirements | GeForce

    Minimum System Requirements

    OS: Windows XP SP3
Processor: 2.4 GHz Dual Core Processor
Memory: 2 GB XP, 2 GB Vista
Hard Disk Space: 13 GB free
    Video Memory: 256 MB
    Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8500
    Sound: DirectX 9.0c Compliant

    Recommended System Requirements

    OS: Windows XP SP3/Vista/Win 7
Processor: 2.3 GHz Quad Core processor
    Memory: 2 GB
Hard Disk Space: 20 GB free
    Video Memory: 512MB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
    Sound: DirectX 9.0c Compliant
Other Requirements & Supports: Initial installation requires one-time internet connection for Steam authentication; software installations required (included with the game) include Steam Client, DirectX 9, Microsoft .NET 4 Framework, Visual C++ Redistributable 2005, Visual C++ Redistributable 2008, Visual C++ Redistributable 2010, and AMD CPU Drivers (XP Only/AMD Only)

I got the game free with my new GPU, it's a pretty darn fun game, I just need to find a bit of spare time to play it

LOL I'm not even following GPU releases, I still have my 6950 and don't even know what AMD's latest & greatest is. Really need to get back into the computer scene

Ah don't worry about it,as long as you're running your games fine then there is no need to upgrade. The getting the latest gpu is sort of a fad, though it's nice to have the latest and greatest hardware. I run all my games just fine with a 6870 and yours should be pretty much fine and it's faster then mine so don't worry unless your gpu starts to struggle then is when you should decide it's time for a upgrade, though if you have the money and really want the new gpus then go for it.
