Anyone get Act of War Direct Action working on 7 x64 yet?
(searched act*of*war, nothing usefull came up though) I have the game and never played it, because it doesnt work. Might not be missing anything, but, always nice to see my Game collection in the start-menu grow :P

Battlefield not working

i have got
Call of duty modern warfare, and world at ar works great
Battlefield 2 loads and goes black and after 2 sec. ctd
i run windows 7 professional 7 (x86) 32 bit
i have a ASUS G71GX-A2
with quad care 2.0
6 gig of memory
a nvidia gtx 260m 1 gig video card
realtek high def sound with the option of bluetooth handfree sound
any ideas what is wrong?

I am actually interested if there's any chance of running those ancient games like Doom, Hexen, Diablo 2 etc.

I think those "ancient" games probably run fine...
Well Diablo 2 would be run as it is..
And Doom and it's clones might have alternatives.. engines
There's Doom HQ I believe and a few more..

GZDoom will play Doom, Doom II, Heretic, Hexen and Strife on modern PCs with numerous upgrades, such as high resolutions, better lighting effects, mouselook and other additions.

True, you could play vanilla Doom through DOSbox, but why would you want to with these enhancements? If mouselook and jumping are that bad, disable them.
