Windows 7 Game Compatibility List

I have an issue with Heroes of Might and Magic VI. I installed and played the game on my lap top for about a week. Last Thursday I recived the usual update message and chose to update, not all because I installed service pack 1 6-9 months ago and the lap quit working and I spent a lot of phone time getting it back to working.
Anyway the game now give me the quit working error dialog box and nevers finds a solution. I uninstalled and re-installed the game but the behavior is the same. I looked for restore points and the latest I can find is when I re-installed the game and nothing earlier.
Is there a way to get it working in the lap I did visit Ubisoft and their response was "lap tops" are not supported and gave no help.

For some reason this game won't even start on my computer. No UAC window or error messages, it doesn't even show up in the task manager.

Maybe I'm missing a patch? If so does someone know where to get one?

Please help.

I formatted my drive c and I installed Windows again. Sims2 and sims3 before it was run well, but now I get an error message that says this file(d3dx9_31.dll or igd10umd32.dll) is missing. please help me.

Try installing DirectX before running the game.

Grand Prix Legends does work on Windows 7, but you need all of the patches.

Hey Guys,

I wonder if you could give me some advice. I have played several "Nexon" Games which are Maplestory, Combat Arms EU, Vindictus, Sudden Attack, Mabinogi and a few more but I have had some compatibility issues with them. Especially Maplestory where I keep getting black bars on the sides of my screens. I have looked all the way round the internet for a solution and also on this forum but havent been able to find a solution. If anyone has a solution can they please either PM me or comment on this thread to tell me if there is a possible solution. I have already tried doing the screen resolutions and trying to change several settings that people have told me to change that may have fixed it and also looked on Youtube for solutions of how people have fixed it in the past but I have had no luck unfortunately. So any advice of how to fix these bugs would be great.

-pax imperia eminent domain, got collar problem
-Star wars empire at war/ forces of corruption (gold pack), both need to be manually installed, forces of corruption can be installed and playd, but i cant remember how i installed the game.
-Gangster 1 and 2 (compatible installing, gangsters 1 gives some collor problems).

I was looking for a way to play prey on windows 7 and found that if you right click on the short cut and run as admin. it plays fine. hope this helps anyone

go to dlldump (dot something ) and download it there and place it with the other dll files
