The icons under recent for steam are wrong

Yesterday I made a mistake deleting steam and its registry entries and had to system restore to an older backup. When I right click on steam in the taskbar, the icons under recent look like this

How do I correct this? Reinstall steam?

Hello Gary,

If those games are still installed and open when you click on them, then you might see if rebuilding the icon cache may be able to help.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Reinstalling steam may be the answer, also you may want to try this Icon Cache - Rebuild after reinstalling steam.
