Problem regarding fps in games(ps2).

I am trying to run ps2 games on my pc with the help of pcsx emulator but it is giving me low FPS can anyone help me here ie game is little slow, however my system configuration is quite impresive.
My system configurations are
WINDOWS 7 64 bit
AMD A6 QUAD core Processor
.5 GB inbuilt and 1 GB dedicated graphic card
4 MB l2 cache memory
1.5 GHZ

PS:do i need to upgrade my laptop
or should i try this using windows xp becoz this doesnt consumes much memory
suggest some possible solutions i will relly appreciate ur help

Windows 10 64bit Technical Preview

I think it's the graphics chip, anyways to run pcx2 aka ps2 emulator you need at least a Geforce 6600 series and a duo core or better.
What you can try is set on speed hacks to 3 and the render is dx9 mode instead of opengl which should work a bit faster by setting it in the rendering options.

Also make sure you have the latest pcx2 build. CLICK BLUE LINK>>> SVN
Other then that can't really do much expect maybe getting a faster laptop or desktop.

Yeah that onboard will not be suffice to run a pcsx2 emulator on any settings properly
