Black screen on any online game

I get random black screens followed by a shutdown while playing online games. I tried reinstalling the graphic card drivers but it does not seem to work. Reinstalling the game "fixes" this momentarily and once it starts to show a black screen it repeats itself.

    Temps while gaming:
    CPU: 70-75C
    GPU: 60-70C

    Specs:
    i7-740QM @ 1.73Ghz
    4gb RAM
    nVidia GT 425M
    500gb Hard Drive @ 5400 RPM

Please help and thank you :)

Note: I usually play HoN, LoL, Dragon Nest, and a little bit of Blacklight: Retribution

    Welcome aboard.

You rollback the display driver to the earlier stable version.

If the crashes continue still then, follow the steps STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting

Hey Arc nice to see you again :)

I changed my drivers and was able to play without crashing yesterday. I decided not to post since it's too early to conclude. I got a crash today and I just wanted to post the dump file. I'm currently following the procedures from the thread you posted.

So far, all my tests passed. sfc.exe \scannow didn't show any problems. I will run memtest overnight tonight, and I will be reporting with the results by the time I wake up.

Here are some dump files that I got after trying to play after updating my BIOS and USB drivers from Sony's website. I also updated my Realtek drivers

    Same stop 0x117.

    Get rid of overclocking.
    Update display driver.
    Check the graphics card.
    Clean inside the computer.
    Monitor heat using Speccy.

I'm not overclocking. My laptop has a pretty bad airflow design. I'll clean my laptop tomorrow. I'll post the results.

Cleaned my laptop and still no luck. I'll try changing my thermal paste into something better but they are hard to find from where I live. My thermal paste right now is a CoolerMaster HTK-002

Yes I did. The tests passed, system file check didn't show any problems. Installing directx9 didn't help. Here are some more dump files that I got. I am not overclocking. Maybe it's the turbo boost that activates and causing the errors?
