    Need for speed most wanted(2012)

Right now, I'm playing this game, it is very hard to control...its like I can't really fully control my car. Some car, I can play more smoothly, but still always get 6th or 7th place in every race. Anyone here have any tips on better controlling? I always crash into walls and cars. btw I'm using a keyboard to play the game.

You could set the graphics to a lower quality if you are using a high quality to run the game, but other then that check your control settings in the options area.

I set everything to low, but the car is still not very controllable. Is that how the game is?

The game must be set that way then, it is designed for you to create your car from scratch once you find it. You will just need to win races and get better steering I guess.

lol,i thought i was the only one who sucked that much
Try an xbox controller, its much MUCH easier to handle.Racing games arent just mean to be played to a KB. And you can customize you're cars in a lot of ways to suit your driving style, try experimenting!

I think I remember trying to play the new Hot Pursuit with my steering wheel, and even then the steering capability in that game was trash. I don't usually suck with racing games unless the handling in the game is crap. I normally do pretty well against AI players in campaign based games (such as Need for Speed: HS, and PU). Or even some of the newer racing games.

There's your mistake right there mate - its harder anyway to control with a keyboard, not impossible but harder

Thats the problem, I couldn't afford a wheel or have any controller...maybe you can get me one? :P anyways, I finally got third place in a race today...
