I can see some differents between DX 10 and 11, but not that much, and not even enough to run out and buy a new video card for it... Over all DX 10 and 11 look almost alike, with 11 looking slightly better.

    Anyhow thats my 2 cents...
    :)

    Have a good day all.

I though DirectX 11 was just supposed to be faster, not bring some super graphics.

Theoretically it's both, although the extra DX11 only features may or may not negate any performance improvement.

Tessellation looks rather good in that Heaven demo. I'm sure games that support DX11 to a good degree should looks and perform rather good when compared to DX10. Especially when they get quad core support.

    Two words.

    Developers. Artists.

Improving a graphic library does not mean games will look better or perform better. It is entirely up to the developers and graphic artists, and in the case of older games, your hardware and driver settings for scaling.

    End of thread.

7 supports directx11 and is able to offload apps to the gpu, and if 11 is released, why stick with 10?

IMO until games and apps catch up with DX11 you won't see the improvements it will provide.
