Guild Wars 2 crashing randomly, Closes all programs.

First I want to say that I know next to nothing about computers...So if you do reply with a suggestion please be very complete. Thank you

My problem is, When I'm play certain games (Mainly Diablo 3 and now Guild wars 2) The game will suddenly crash and with it every program I'm running. Normally Skype, spotify, Windows media player. If I am playing music the speakers make this horrible loud noise...everything dies for the most part. I can still open programs but they instantly freeze up or crash unless I reboot. When I reboot it never says that any error has happened. Everything works fine. Sometimes it doesn't happen for hours, some times it happens 5 min after I start playing. I Would put my system specs here, but all I can figure out is..

Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit
AMD Radeon 6850
8GB Ram
Xtreme Gear 700W ATX Power Supply
3 fans
Not sure what kind of motherboard
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Processor

Please help if you can, If its something with drivers, please explain how to update. Thank you again.
