    Thinking of upgrading Pc but what parts ?


    Hey guys !
    Havnt been on here for a while so hey give me a break ! :)
    my cpu is a phenom x4 955 black edition but im not sure wether to upgrade to the fx edition 8150 ?
    aswell as the 990fx sapphire motherboard ....
    on the other hand theres my graphics card which is still fine in my opinion i still run the latest games with the highest settings with no problem what so ever
    whats your guys opinions ?

    Looking at your System info, I would suggest you change your mechanical HDD (is it mechanical?) to an SSD. You won't benefit much from a processor upgrade. Your RAM, unless using memory intensive applications (Adobe Photoshop, VMWare) should be okay.

    If money is no object, why not? but, if you have no problems running your apps and games with what you have now, why upgrade?

    You are pretty much in the same predicament I am and the itch of upgrading is always there but, I guess due to the economy I need to wait, perhaps for the better as when I am ready, the newest things will probably be better than now... at least, that is what I am telling myself

    Get a ssd, probably best upgrade you can do. Other stuff seems alright well at least in my opinion like Oreo said.
