Its not going to make a big comeback like a lot of people say it is.
i've spent more enjoyable hours than i remember playing the simcity games in the past.
the city xl games just don't have the addictive appeal of the maxis versions, and seem curiously half-finished.
i'm fearing the game will be a flop if it's aimed primarily at low-powered consoles. luckily consoles haven't been mentioned yet...

It will be damned with drm, you can play solo but you still need an internet connection. The idea behind this launch is multiplayer. There seems to be some tempting cool jazz about multiplayer options so it's still tempting.
Lots of people already slamming having to rely on there servers. I have two games that need steam, haven't had an issue but those are fps games. Simcity will be another Origin animal.
