Freezing while gaming but no BSOD
Hopefullly you will be able to help me.
I was playing The Secret World and getting along fine on low graphical settings. Turned off, came back to it later on and whenever I try to play windows starts freezing, not loading up character models etc (ie I can go to character creation screen but it doesnt load the actual character, just the option to change the features and clothes. When I actually get into the game I can be moving about and then it just freezer for 30-60 seconds, comes back for a couple of seconds and then freezes again.
The computer specs are as follows:
OS - Windows 7 64 bit
CPU - AMD Athlon II X4 620 (2.6MHz)
Mainboard - MSI MS-7374
BIOS - American Megatrends V3.9
Memory - Duel channel DDR2 4096mb (2 x Crucial 2gb)
Graphics - Nvidia GeForce GTS250 (1024mb)
This also happens if im playing other games such as Saints Row 3, or if im playing Football Manager and open an internet browser at the same time its loading.
I have just finished running Memtest which has gone through 7 ful cyceles and reported no errors.
I have changed the graphics card and the same issues still arise.
Hard Disk Sentinal shows no issues and 100% HDD health
Also ran a file check and its come back with no errors.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated
