Freezing while playing some games.
Hello,
my computer recently started freezing while playing some video games and i really don't know why .
Everything was before i updated my nvidia driver from 296.10 to 301.42 , i installed Test Drive Unlimited, after driving for 10-15 seconds my screen freezes , in game sound loops , keyboard doesn't work (even numlock or capslock lights not working) and i have to force shutdown my computer and start again , i remember playing that game normally but i said anyway and started Test Drive Unlimited 2, it did the same thing, while i played it 2-3 hours the day before i updated driver. Now it happens some other games like The Guild 2(randomly, numlock capslock works until i alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del) , happened once in Crusader Kings 2 and happens randomly in F1 2012. I was listening podcast while playing F1 2012 with game sounds lowered , after freezing, game sounds started looping but podcast continued while everything else froze. I can play other games like Medal of Honor Warfighter, Mass Effect 1-2-3 or Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Any help?
Thank you.
I Tried;
1) uninstalled and installed nvidia 296.10, 301.42 306.97 with/without Driver Sweeper(Fusion)(i am downloading 310.90 driver at the moment).
2)updated Directx .
3)checked other driver updates like chipset or sound but they were up to date.
4)Defraged hard drive
5)scanned my computer with Spybot and HiJackThis
6) i have latest windows updates.
7)i checked gpu temperatures with MSI Afterburner and HWinfo , freezings happen at random temperatures between 50 and 78.7 degrees. gpu temperature is about 35-37 degrees in idle and newer saw over 78.7 degrees.
P.S.: i think i attached dxdiag and event viewer to my message and sorry for my English.
