Since it is a factory built laptop I'm sure the BIOS will have very few user adjustments available to you. Because of this is likely the reason Speed Fan and After Burner won't work.

Spinning you internal fan faster won't help as I am sure it is already running at full speed, or it has worn out due to being over taxed with gaming.

mastergast,
Let us help you build your first gaming desktop rig. They handle the changing requirements and heat issue way better than any lappy. Laptops for intense gaming start at $1,300.00 usd and run way up from there and I would budget for $2,000.00 min. for a real fast graphics lappy. For that kind of money you can build the kill desktop that will slay the lappy six ways to Sunday.

FWIW I am with linne on that mastergast and I reckon you will find building is so much more satisfaction mind you I think $1500 would get a real special job - thats about what my last build (this machine) cost and it is a blinder

There is only one drawback - it is addictive

VERY slow LAN Speed
Hello, I have speed issues when working with files on the LAN network. They open and save much much slower than XP. On the other hand the ADSL internet connection is fine and running at full speed. What is the problem? The computer is brand new i7 2600k + 16GB ram and ASUS P8P67 motherboard...

Slow DL speed
My upload speeds seem fine in Windows 7, but when I'm downloading a game from Steam, where speeds used to be 400-700KB/s, speeds are now getting no higher than 50-100 KB/s. Is there anything I can do? Do I need a driver for something?
