    Problems with the sims 1 and windows 7


    The sims installed onto my laptop fine, I managed to install all of the expansion packs that I own also, I am able to play the game but as soon as I try to save it it just crashes an shuts down the game?

    Any ideas? I am playing the sims 1 on windows 7.
    I have tried run as administrator but that hasn't made any difference

    Please post your pc specifications... If we know your hardware, it will be really easier for us to help you...

    Have you tried to run the game in Windows XP compatibility mode?
    This is a guide to enable it: Compatibility Mode
