    MS FSX installer stops responding

    Hi worldwide Fellas...

I've tried to install FSX but the installer checks the system to start the installation and stops due to a *.temp file not responding and W7 offers 'search in the web for the solution' (no solution found) and 'close the program'... and installer quits.

I run everything as ADMIN and all the permissions , I clean all the temp files, reboot, and no luck.

Anyone out there with the same issue or any ideas?

    best regards from Spain

Looks like something is wrong with the windows installer and W7, because anytime I try to run it, the W7 window shows up

I had the same problem i think it was this that solved it:
Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Accessories.

Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. In the User Account Control window, verify that Program name is Windows Command Processor, and then click Yes.

In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or paste the following text at the prompt:

    reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f

Press Enter to install the solution.

If The operation completed successfully displays, close the Administrator: Command Prompt window to complete this procedure. If "ERROR: Access is denied" displays, repeat this procedure from the top, making sure you clicked Run as administrator in step two.

Your welcome, i have also got mine working and DX10 actually makes FSX look worse and performance is worse, so am sticking to standard mode without DX10 and i get nice framerates.
