Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1

You play as Altair in the first one and as Ezio in the second one. Both are memories being witnessed by Desmond in the animus. But yes, as logicearth mentioned, it is a continuation with a new story.

Assassins Creed II is the sequel to Assassins Creed II, however, the second game only has slight references to the first game. The ACII storyline is stronger, since you play with the same character until Revelations I believe.
