Multiple games stopped working on start up (BEX error)

    Hi!

I keep getting the BEX error with multiple games. It's really weird how they occur. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. The first time I got that error was when I installed the game called "Omerta - City of Gangsters". Now I get this error on games like "Smite", "Fifa 13", "Age of Empires III", "Men of War - Assault Squad" etc.

It's also weird because I ran Smite just fine, but since my friends were already playing a match, I thought I'd finish watching a movie and closed the game. When they finished I tried to relaunch the game and got the BEX error. The only programs I used in between the launches were "Mozilla Firefox" and "Windows Media Player".

What I found on Google was that when I do I clean boot I can get past this error. But this also doesn't let the "HiPatchService" (Smite updater) start up, so I can't play Smite. And this is a temporary solution. I'm trying to find a permanent fix, because I'm tired of rebooting my system in between games.

Updated both and haven't gotten any errors for a few days, so it seems to have worked.

    Thanks!
