Disable Data Collection in Games Explorer?

Hey all - this may be an easy one, but how can I "disable data collection" in the Games Explorer? Research suggests doing so may resolve some of the blank-screen issues I've had starting games. Thanks.

When you open the Games Explorer folder, click on Options (toolbar) and uncheck that option and any other one that you do not want.
