How can i make a shortcut feature for my Game Launcher?

Hi!
My name is Peter and i have a little problem and need help

Im sitting at home having fun Scripting a Batch file
now i cant make this work
i want a feature saying Add game
which will allow people i give the launcher to add games to it
like if they go in to the add game feature
they type in the game directory and
on the list of games the new game will appear and i will be apple to run it.
how can i do this?
have tried something like this:
:add
set /p input="type program path here: "
SET ShortcutPath="c:\batch links\"
SET ProgramPath="%input%"
SET SearchBaseDir="C:\Documents and Settings\"

FOR /R %SearchBaseDir% %%i IN (*.gba) DO (
createShortcut "%ShortcutPath%Open %%~ni.lnk" "%ProgramPath%" "%%i"
)

Also i have a Login system so that i type in user name and password
so could it be possible to make a script that would at a game to the list of the current user and not the others?
