just installed twin monitors and wondering if there is a way to stretch a game to over both monitors?

    Hi Vett,

What graphics card are you using? or are you running the displays off of the Motherboard?

If you only have onboard graphics, then I'd say it's not possible.

Plus multi-monitor gaming looks best with a minimum of 3 monitors. If you play stuff like FPS games then the centre of the game will be in between both monitors.

it seems that it will be possible, you will probably have to use Nvidia software to configure the screens to span across the two screens.

right now I have the desk top background across the two screens so that part is fine I will look into the software.
another question is when I play borderlands it comes up on one screen but I can't use the other screen to do anything else, for instance check email, the mouse cursor won't go to the other screen to do anything, only when playing the game>

Because the mouse cursor is focused in the full screen window on the main monitor. You'd have to play in windowed mode to do what you want to do. Some third-party multi-monitor software may be able to help, but with just Windows and Geforce panel if you managed to get the cursor on to the second monitor the game would minimise as soon as you focus on another window.

The only way i know which could probably get round that is if you open the game in window mode, otherwise i dont know any one around that.
