    How Do I Play SimCity 3000 On Windows 7?


    Hello I Try To Install SimCity 3000 After installon it wants me register i click No i watch game directory theres nothing! I Tried DosBox it didint work.

    By any chance, are you running the installer "as administrator"? Since the game has been released well before UAC, it may give problems with older installers. Also, DosBox will be of no help as this is a Windows based game.

    Very descriptive error really..........

    No idea as the message gives no clue (other than asking Google). Possibly, you can try with compatibility modes (XP SP3 or Win98 normally solves some problems) or even running the game as admin too like the installer. Some games also run when used with certain combination of compatibility parameters, but it's very case specific and a lot of trial and error.

    I was playing Extreme Acade wich is for Win95/98 Compatibale and worked fine
