Stuttering in some games when mouse is moved.

Hi all! I have myself a bit of an odd problem. Recently I overclocked my CPU in order to better play Planetside 2, which worked. But since then in games like Mount and Blade: Warband, Terraria, Guild Wars 2, (or really any game with a involving the mouse for that matter) have severe stuttering issues whenever I move the mouse around. I thought that reverting all the BIOS settings back to normal would fix this, but apparently it did not. One things I'd like to make clear is that this only happens when I move the mouse, games run perfectly well until it moves.
I'll give you my computer specs from Speccy:

UPDATE: I've done some testing and there are a few games that are not affected, they are Battlefield 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. I still have no idea why only a few of my games are affected.

It's a LogiTech G500, and I tried Terraria with my Microsoft Wireless mouse and it worked fine. I'm assuming now it's just mouse specific.

That is the same mouse I use. Make sure you have the latest drivers and double check the settings from the link I posted

Windows Vista/7 Mouse Options
Go to the Start > Control Panel > Mouse
Click on the Pointer Options tab
Ensure that Display Pointer Trails, Smart Move, and Acceleration in Games options are disabled (some of these options may not be displayed, depending upon which version of Windows you are using)
Exit the Mouse Properties window by clicking OK to save your changes

All of the settings you provided already matched my own, and the mouse drivers are up to date. It only started very recently and I hadn't changed any of the settings, at least to the best of my knowledge.

EDIT: I just tried it on my laptop, worked perfectly. So thankfully I wont need a new mouse.

Can you elaborate on the stuttering?

ie The cursor stutters or the game turns into a FPS slideshow kind of stuttering?

To backtrack - You have zero issues with another mouse?

Before you touched the BIOS for the OC - were ALL games running fine with the G500?

And can you recall what settings you adjusted for the Overclock and are you sure you reverted all settings?

Did you touch anything related to USB in the BIOS? Changed from High Speed to Full etc

It only started very recently

Before or directly after being in the BIOS?

If the lens were dirty, all games including desktop usage would be jumpy. That can be ruled out.

It works in two games + desktop(?) - Bad mouse can be ruled out.

I must admit nothing is instantly leaping out and saying "I'm a cause" so far.

As a test, have you tried removing your current mouse drivers/app and tried it with generic mouse drivers in all games?

I did try with just the core drivers, HID Compliant Device.
I noticed the issue after I had modified some BIOS settings, but to the best of my knowledge none had to do with any USB settings or mouse settings. All I touched was just the CPU clock, the voltage I just left on auto. I saved that as a profile then reverted all settings back to default.

Backtracking: I tested these games and had zero issues with my other mouse.

It's kind of an FPS slideshow, if that's how you want to describe it ^_^

I'll just double check my BIOS settings to see if I missed anything.

And again, thanks. I appreciate the help.

UPDATE: Double checked the BIOS, everything is at its default value. Uninstalled the mouse through the Device Manager and restarted the system, the problem still persists.

Ok, this is weird...but hey it's a fix.

If I run any of the games that experienced issues in Admin mode the problem completely vanishes. They're back to being as fast and fluid as they used to be.

Not that I'm unhappy that I found a fix, I'm just still curious as to what would have caused this in the first place. I'm marking the thread as solved but I'd still like to hear your thoughts!
