Advice needed in buying components,7970 or GTX 680?

Don`t ya just love it when people reply to an ages old thread. LOL They should just PM people directly to see if they have resolved their problem or whatever the case may be, but Kudos to vspeck for the effort

That is all fooey you can mix and match all you want only thing is if you want a card with dedicated PhysX or you can run it off the CPU with a download from Nvidia it does not matter you can mix and match any brand not one runs better then another unless you want to put Intel soley against AMD

Both platforms can use what ever but when it comes to CPU's and sockets well those aren't compadible with each other but GPU'S are

AMD altogether doesn't work any better then Intel and Nvida all together it's a preference
