Uplay: how to copy/paste the game after a new window installation?

I just re-installed my windows after MONTHS because it was getting too slow and the problem is that unlike origin,i cant simply copy/paste the game instead of redownloading it everytime,or at least i dont know how to. So if anyone knows a way, please share :)
Tried starting the download, pausing it and then pasting the game files in the folder where its being downloaded but didnt do anything.

I guess the best is to have a copy of your games on DVDs then install from that media to avoid downloading the all games, enter the product key when asked, if not already registred in Origin /Steam.

You should have made backups of those games on DVDs for future install if those were bought like direct download method.
