Medal of Honor graphic troubles/problems windows 7 64b geforce GT320m

    Hello,

I installed MoH Allied Assault, everything works until i try to start a mission : then the graphics become all blue and green, as if a layer was missing. It's completely impossible to play. Try compatibility mode, its and old game and probably won't be on the windows 7 compatible list.

Farcry used to have that issue on mobile gpu's, but that was a current game on current gpu's, I'd expect yours to play it on high easily.

    Thanks for trying,

I tried compatibility with xp sp2, xp sp3 even Vista, nothing works, still the same problem. I've been on other forums it seems to work on other people's computers... MoH Airborn works fine on mine...

I don't understand what is messing up with the graphic card.

I have pretty well the whole MOH series installed on my Windows 7 x64 based PC. Allied Assault, Spearhead, Breakthough, Pacific Assault, Airborne and MOH Limited Edition. I haven't had any problems playing any of them and haven't had to use compatibility mode. The only problem I've run into is installing Airborne. I have to un-install any previously installed version of PhysX before its installer will run to completion. After that I can update PhysX to the latest version. I'm running a GT220, other specs are in my profile. It will run on windows 7 64 bit. Have you tried the auto configure option or the safe mode option?

EDIT: I'm running the Nvidia 285.62 Win7 64bit graphics driver.

It doesn't change anything... Any other ideas? Anything? Might be the stupidest solution.

    Thanks anyway

Haha! Yeah, i've tried that too... I even tried with a different CD, but exactly the same problem occurs... Gosh it seems impossible! I mean, nothing seems wrong with my computer and with the graphic card and drivers right? And if it doesn't come from the CD itself then what? I am perplex.

    Keep sending ideas please!

It's an older game so maybe its just a combination of your hardware and or drivers that it doesn't like. If you haven't already, you could try downloading and installing DirectX 9. I find that a lot of the older games prompt to install it during the install. I've said yes and it did add or update some DirectX files to my system. As far as I know its never caused me any problems and DirectX 10/11 functionality still works afterward.

I tried to find the 9.0c redistributable on Microsoft's site but struck out. That or I just didn't recognize it. It used to be fairly easy to find? Now that I think about it, its likely on one or more of you MOH game disks.
