Call of duty world at war

When playing COD WAW multiplayer online it freezes and says: COD WAW multiplayer has stopped working. It sometimes then says Unhandled Exception as the error.

This usually happens anywhere from about 10mins of playing up to 1 hour.

Im not sure if it is Punk Buster or somthing else causing this. Was hoping sombody could help me out.

These are the fixes I have tried:
    -Latest realtek HD Audio
    -Latest video card drivers
    -Update Direct X
-Try different compatibility modes for both the game and Punkbuster
-Change audio to 44khz i think it is
    -Latest game patch

    Here is my system:
    Intel C2D 8500
    Asus P5Q Pro m/b
    Geil 4gb DDR2
    EVGA 285GTX
    WD Raptor 150gig
    1TB Hitachi
    Win 7 6.1 build 7600

Thank you if any one can help me out

64 bit architectures are sketchy with most games. Usually older ones.... I used to run Win XP x64 and very few games ran without errors. I have the same questions and concerns about Win 7 x64. Its the only reason I'm waiting to buy it.

I have no problems playing CoD:WaW on W7 Pro x64 SP & MP since I got the RTM a month or so ago...all I can suggest is to check PB setup (there is a Sticky at the top of this game forum) and for some plugging in a microphone has stopped the game from crashing (a fix that has been used since CoD4)
