Windows 7: Perfect World PH

I was wondering if someone can help me regarding my problem with Perfect World.

I've had this problem on my 64bit-Vista and decided to switch to 32bit-7 since the game might not be optimized for the 64bit OS.

I always get stuck at "Entering the game" screen after logging in and choosing my character. In some occasions, I can successfully log in, but then face a complete lag that forces me to reconnect. On some rare occasions, the game works fine for about a minute then enters a lag spike that again, forces me to reconnect..

The strange thing is, when I'm running the game on my desktop computer that's been running on XP, I don't encounter those problems.

I really don't have much of a choice with OS since I can only go with either Vista or 7 since there are no available drivers for my laptop in XP OS..

Any help regarding this issue is very much appreciated.

The specs of my laptop is as follows:
2.26ghz core2duo
4gb ddr3 ram
1gb ddr3 video ram (geforce 9800m gts)
DirectX11 on 7 and 10 on Vista

Internet connection is: 3mbps Cable Internet thru LinkSys WRT160Nv3 router
